Armor Penetration, as far as rangers are concerned, everything stacks. Only the AP from Penatrating and Sundering Attack is Base AP, all others that we have access to (with a bow) is Bonus.

Iirc, Hornbows are as damage efficient as Flatbows and shortbows against hard targets, but AP only applies to base arrow damage and not to the armor ignoring(!) bonus damage from skills and such.

Ok i've thought it over and heres what i came out with

[skill]Burning Arrow[/skill][skill]Kindle Arrows[/skill][skill]Distracting Shot[/skill][skill]Sundering Attack[/skill][skill]Dual Shot[/skill][skill]Lightning Reflexes[/skill][skill]Troll Unguent[/skill][skill]Ether Signet[/skill]

12 Expertise
12 Wilderness
13 Marksmanship
4 Illusion Magic

With a Sundering Horn Bow of Fortitude

I think i can get rid of the Ether sig and possibly something else to cause a bit more dmg i thought about putting Penetrating attack in there but i thought that would just plan out drain me of energy to quickly let me know what you think

Even Expert Focus would give better energy-management then Ether Sig (and where do you get the 4 in Illusion from?). I'd choose between either BA + interrupts + prep and a Penetrating/Sundering oriented build with Prepared Shot (+prep) as energy management.

Dual shot isn't really worth bringing most of the time (maybe with ignite arrows, nightmare weapon or some AoE effect), it's 2 arrows, each at 75% damage = 150% (including prep bonusses), I'd rather bring Needling, or a second interrupt.
